The TV news clip I analysed was Anglia Tonight and it starts with an opening sequence which shows the audience the title of the news. The colours used in the opening sequence contrast each other and this is to make the words the name of the news stand out to the audience. Also the colours blue and white are a common theme used by the Anglia news and therefore they are keeping to a consistent colour scheme in the opening sequence. The opening sequence also consists of non dietetic sound which is used in sync with the sequence to attract the audience into the news.
                                                                                      2)

This shows the first opening shot in the news clip and it is a two shot of the two news presenters.  Both presenters are wearing formal clothing as this demonstrates a professional look to the audience so that they keep interested in the news and feel informed. They are both sitting in a relaxed manner facing the camera and this makes the audience feel more informed and makes it easy for the audience to watch and engage in the news.  Also in the clip the consistent theme of white and blue and followed with the background being blue and white. The TV shown in the background informs the audience what the presenters are talking about and therefore makes it is easier to understand the news story. The clip follows a consistent throughout many news programmes as it has both a man and woman presenting the news.  The setting is also very relaxed as the presenters are sitting on a sofa rather than sitting behind a desk with notes.

                                                                                 3)
This is the scene in which shows the audience the location where the major news story is taking place. It is a close up of the court name and this engages the audience into the news story and gives them further knowledge into the news story.
                                                                                    4)

This shot shows a close up of the main person within this story. It is a close up shot which allows the  audience to see the facial expressions of the person. Also by interviewing the main person within the story they are giving the audience more knowledge on the story. The location of the interview also shows that it is outside the main location which the court where the trial is taking place. The graphic along the bottom is also used to inform the audience about who the person been interviewed is.
                                                                                5)
This shot shows a close up of the man who is also a main person in this news story. This is used to further inform the audience about who this person is and what he looks like.
                                                                              6)

This shots shows a low angle shot of a news reporter at the scene with the court in the background. This is done so that news reporter can summarise the news story making it easier for the audience to understand. The graphic across the bottom also informs the audience about the location and who the reporter is. It is in the colours of blue and white which is following the consistent colour scheme through out the news.

                                                                             7)

This shows a close up shot of a document which the news report is on. This is used to make it clear to the audience what they are talking about and it makes the news more interesting than just looking at the two presenter talking. As these images are shown to the audience the two presenters in the studio are talking over the images to explain the news report to the audience.

                                                                            8)

This shows the last news report on this news clip and it is positive report so that it leaves the audience on a positive note. Also there is a graphic along the bottom to again inform the audience on what the report is about, however it is not in the colour scheme which has been followed throughout. The images seen on screen are being talked about by the two presenters in the studio and this is to make the news more interesting and engage the audience. After this news story the news ends with the presenters saying a goodbye to the audience and then the sequence seen at the start is shown to end the show.
